Super quiet home cycle

Super quiet home cycle
Phenomenal home bike! I’ve had Sunny bike in the past, I thought it was decent. This one is fantastic. Completely silent. No waking up everyone in the house. Small footprint, perfect for an apartment! Easy to assemble, there’s a guy on YouTube that walks you through it. Seat is marshmallow soft. Makes long rides comfortable. Sleek look. Super sturdy & stable. Definitely would buy again. Absolutely recommend!

Great exercise bike! Easy to put together, especially with a video I found on Youtube. The ride is smooth and quiet. I love it! I purchased it after reading a review on another site. Definitely great value.

Very Good Quality for the Price

Before the review – a critical assembly tip:
When installing the pedals on the crank, the right pedal bolt threads clockwise to tighten (as almost everything does) but the LEFT pedal bolt threads COUNTERCLOCKWISE. The directions (translated in China where the bike is manufactured) are somewhat confused – there is a diagram with an arrow pointing clockwise but the text does say "counterclockwise". After spending several minutes unsuccessfully trying to thread the pedal in the universal way, I revisited the directions, tried tightening to the left, and it installed properly. Apparently, many buyers have made the same error. The reason for the left side reverse threading becomes apparent when pedaling – both sides are moving in the direction to tighten…otherwise, they would work loose.

That said, I'm very happy with this exercise bike. It is solid, well-made and adjustable enough for me (6'-2", 200 lbs.) and my wife (5'-4" and a perfect weight) to use comfortably. I'm at the upper range of inseam (32") for the max. seat height to create the ideal downstroke form (slightly flexed knee). Assembly is straightforward and takes less than an hour – it will take you even less if you follow the tip, above. The steel is good quality, the welds are good, the parts all fit correctly and the design is very good. There is no wobble in the handlebar or seat posts when they are properly adjusted and clamped in place. This exercise bike works on friction resistance NOT magnetic resistance – there is a small wool brake/resistance pad that is infinitely adjustable and the package includes a spare. Because it is friction resistance, there is a slight whirring noise when operating with moderate resistance but it's not bothersome. I'm in good shape and I'm nowhere near maxing out on the resistance. The belt drive is quiet and smooth. The computer display is pretty basic and some buyers have complaints but it works and is accurate in terms of time, MPH and total miles. Overall, at $300, the bike is a very good value for a home exercise set-up. Expect to spend twice that for a good-quality magnetic resistance bike and up to $2,500+ for spin bike with all the bells, whistles and video instructors – you know the one I mean. I get a fine workout with the YOSUDA.

Feedback after training on this for the past 3-4 weeks.

    Good overall.

    Positives:
    – Quiet for the most part, so it’s nice being able to work out in the early morning.
    – Very compact, sturdy and stable. Fits perfectly in my small bedroom.
    – Also very easy to put together by yourself, no need to ask others for help. The package had all the right tools to put this together.
    – Adjustable handle and seat height. It has lots of levels so if you are looking to challenge yourself, this will do.

    Negatives:
    – the seat can be uncomfortable at first and can be squeaky at times, that’s the only part that tends to make noise,
    – the pedals are very small, which can be annoying because feet can slip easily, and the additional protection for the pedals is just not comfortable. It just needs bigger pedals,
    – it’s negligible, but the ultra heavy duty batteries that came with this device didn’t last more than 2 weeks, so I had to replace them. This is least of worries but don’t be surprised if you need to use your own AAA batteries.

I haven’t tried the app tracking functionalities as I have no need to use that, so I cannot provide feedback regarding that.

Definitely I would recommend getting this device if you’re just starting out and not trying to ruin your finances buying a popular brand name equipment that provides you with same functionalities.

I bought this bike for daily periodic 10 minute duration exercises to bump my heart rate up a few times. I am an elderly male and find this bike works well for my purpose. I cannot rate how well it would work for a younger person wanting to push their limits for an extended period of time. The quality is exceptional for the price. The only thing so far that is questionable is the comfort of the seat, but this is not a serious issue for me since my workout durations are under 15 minutes.

Easy to assemble with very clear instructions.
I’m a female and I did this by myself in about an hour with distractions from my 4-year old. The bike is exceptionally well packaged and the parts are clearly labeled.
As for the bike itself. It’s near silent. Only a slight rubbing noise when you increase the resistance. The seat was very uncomfortable initially and I was worried I would be able to last longer than a few minutes. It’s that hard toward the narrow end but I adjusted the seat to point down and problem solved!
The iPad holder is pretty cheap and just snaps on. I don’t think I would actually trust my phone or iPad in this holder.
The monitor is also VERY basic. I don’t see a way to enter in my stats so the calorie count is pretty much useless but if you have a fitness watch or monitor than it’s no big deal and at least there is the distance tracker.
The slider adjustment on the seat is so slight that it’s not even worth adjusting. The seat only moves back and forward an inch so I don’t really see the point.
I feel hopeful about this bike. I did a brief test ride while adjusting the resistance between easy and hard and alternating between sitting and standing positions. After only 5 minutes I was breaking a sweat so I feel that this bike is a keeper.
I have two teenagers that also want to use it so it’s going to get more than normal wear and tear and I’m hoping it will hold up to the abuse.
Also. A note regarding maneuverability. I don’t plan to move this bike all over the place. I pretty much have a set location for it, but I did wheel it out of the way to lay the equipment mat down.
The maneuverability is awkward and rigid. The bike is heavy which makes it hard to raise without the wheels rolling away from you when you go to raise the back as well as challenging when your trying to prevent the raised end from slamming on the ground when you go to lower it. The wheels only turn in one direction (front and back) and not side to side so if you’re trying to maneuver within a small space, you’re going to find yourself in a situation where you need to do a lot of slight forward and back movements to get the bike to face a different direction.
    Hope this helps everyone!

Impressive quality, whisper quiet, probably the best thing I've bought on Amazon

My spin instructor friend who teaches classes recommended this bike to me, and I am very grateful she did. I am very impressed with the quality of this bike given the low price. I paid only $330 plus tax, with free shipping to my door. I've been using it for a week and it's been holding up well.

    Pros:
    – The price is incredible + free shipping to your door. Most bikes like this would cost you $500 and you would have to pay over a hundred more to ship to your door
    – You can carry the package with two people
    – Sturdy and thick construction. Does not wobble like a cheap bike would
    – Quality is almost as good as the bikes in the gym
    – Works for all heights. I am 5'2" and my partner is 5'10" and we both have no issues.
    – The seat is EXTRA comfortable! I normally hate spin bike seats because they hurt, but this doesn't. Wow!
    – Easy to assemble. Took less than an hour and the bike came with the necessary tools (Allen key, wrench, etc) and extra screws
    – Extremely quiet! I am very surprised
    – Environmentally friendly in that you don't have to plug it in. The electronic display is battery operated and comes with 2 AA batteries.
    – East to adjust resistance with the red knob in the middle
    – iPad rest works great for my iPhone placed vertically and horizontally!
    – Does not take up too much space after assembled. Can put it in a corner of the bedroom
    – Does not make heavy indentations in berber carpet
    – Based on the reviews here, it seems that the manufacturer (Masou) offers great customer support and answers questions quickly, although I have not needed to contact them.

Cons (very few, and none of these are dealbreakers – I still recommend this bike!)
    – You might have to re-tighten the seat after 30 minutes of riding because it may start to wobble
    – Assembling the seat was more challenging because you have to tighten it a lot so it does not wobble. Despite this, it is still very good quality that I recommend
    – The electronic display shows calories burned, elapsed time, distance, etc and it seems to be a bit too optimistic. For example, it said I rode 45 minutes but I know I rode no more than 35 minutes.

Started off Great – 6 months in not so much

Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2020

I've had this bike about 6 months now. It started off great and I saw some comments about how it was kind of noisy but I found that you just have to tighten things every now and then and it's fine (or so I thought). We had such a nice relationship at the beginning… but now it drives me crazy.

For assembly: the box is long and thin. I don't think a single person shorter could get this up a lot of steps by themselves just FYI. I'm not weak by any means but I only had to slide it on carpet in my building down the hallway to get it to my apartment. Assembly took about an hour and wasn't too hard. There are youtube tutorials that I highly recommend doing as you are building to make sure you get everything the correct way.

I use the bike for spin classes through Les Mills 3-4 times a week and have roughly done so every week since May. I've noticed that the bike already shows wear and tear when it comes to the bolts and adjustable feet. For me, I have carpet in my apartment. I would of course prefer hardwood/laminate but that's not what I'm working with. There are adjustable feet but one of mine is broken. Hard to say how long it's been like that but I can only adjust one side now. This makes the bike creak during classes. I would say that the worst part is the seat. At first I loved it because there's a lot of cushion. However, the bike is poorly designed in that department. The screws are now stripped because I've had to constantly tighten it. I don't think I even got past a month of use before I regularly had to tighten it. Now I have to tighten it before every use, and sometimes I have to get off the bike to adjust because it gets so noisy. Not just a little noise either… so loud I can hardly hear the spin class on my TV a few feet away. My concern is my neighbors. If you live in a house or don't care about noise in your apartment, then this would be a good bike for you. The piece above the flywheel that holds the handle bars in also doesn't stay firm. I've tried stuffing paper around it but it still moved around so it's just not a tight fit. For me, I don't think it's a safety concern but rather something to be aware of.

I think the bike is fairly sturdy all things considered but you're not getting the best piece of equipment at this price point. As a short person (I'm 5'1) I wish I had opted for a bike with adjustable handlebars (forward/backward) but I knew what I was getting from the description.

3 stars comes from 6 months of use and a very noisy bike that is getting to be unbearable for me…. if this isn't a concern for you I'd say this is a decent spin bike but don't expect stellar quality in the long run.

I'll start by saying that I've been doing spin for about 4 years, I'm 5'1" and I've only used bikes at gyms. This one had most of what I was looking for and the price was right so I pulled the trigger and bought one.
It was really easy to assemble. The hardest part was getting it out of the box.
I've been using it for almost two weeks now and here are some of my thoughts!
The seat is really comfortable. If you're not used to spinning, I can see why some people might say it's not, but this was probably the most comfortable spin seat I've ever been on.
My first time using a magnetic fly wheel, so I was nervous when the reviews said that you can barely push the pedals with no tension. Not my experience at all. I found it fine for a start and I need at least 3 turns before I hit the "flat road".
As for the sturdiness of the bike, it's not bad. I got a sand bag to weigh it down so it won't move out of place.
I switched out the pedals for some that I could clip into and that was super easy to do.
Finally, the only thing I would have liked is if the seat could move forward more, just from what I'm used to comfort wise, but that's just personal preference.
Overall, incredibly happy with the purchase to date. Hopefully it stays that way!

I loved using this bike… until it broke. 10 months in the magnetic resistance will no longer crank and I'm not sure I will be able to fix it (I can't remove the parts needed to expose the faulty bit). If you want something to last longer than a year, this is sadly not your bike
