Coworker talked me into getting a beard kit. Main reason I've refrained for years was due to not being a fan of "foo foo scents". Definitely won't get that with Viking Revolution. The scents are really nice. Balms and oils work well too. My beard shines now in the light with the balms. Just be aware that bees tend to prefer Viking Revolution oils as well so I tend to use those at night before bed (indoor use).

This is a great kit. The variety is very good. If other kits like this could be put together that would be great. Like a shampoo, hair conditioner, beard wash and conditioner and body wash a pomade for styling the hair and beard, I would buy it.

This set of three beard care packs is pretty good.
The scents are nice. My husband likes the “coffee whiskey” one the best; he thought the “sandalwood” was a little too feminine (I disagree, but it is pretty neutral). The vanilla was pretty much exactly what you’d expect. The scents match pretty well between the oils and the balm; the oils are less strongly scented.
The beard oils really moisturized his beard and helped tame it. The balm is a soft to medium hold.
The comb came with a splinter in it from not being cut perfectly, but once we fixed that it was fine. The brush is a little on the stiff side but functional. The beard pen is a very dark brown; it is double-ended, with a wider brush tip on one side and a thin trio on the other side, and it comes with 6 extra nibs for the thin side.
My husband deals with psoriasis around his scalp and beard but didn’t have any flare ups from this set, which is good. All in all, he likes his Honest Amish stuff better, but this is a pretty good set.
